Why we exist
Making heritage a practice, not a memory.
A declared association based in Saint-Martin, Saint-Martin Heritage Sailing works to return traditional sailing to the heart of the island’s cultural life. Its approach connects sailing, teaching, boatbuilding, historical research and regional cooperation.
Train a new generation of crew members in Saint-Martin.
Create cultural, educational and intergenerational programmes.
Strengthen links with Anguilla and the wider Caribbean maritime community.
Tradition does not survive by staying ashore. It lives when a new generation learns to take its place aboard.
